ENIGMA-PD Site Information Request

Thank you for contributing your FreeSurfer data to ENIGMA-PD. This form collects general cohort and MRI acquisition information (regarding the T1w-image) that is used across all ENIGMA-PD projects that make use of this cohort, so that you only need to provide it once rather than separately for each project.

Before you start

How to fill in this form

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to us at enigma-pd@amsterdamumc.nl. Thank you again for your continued collaboration.

Your details

So we know who to follow up with if we have any questions about this submission.

Please fill in your name.

Please fill in your email address.

1. Cohort & Timing Information

As you would like us to refer to your site in our manuscripts. This is usually the city or institute name (whichever you prefer), kept short (one or two words) rather than the full affiliation.

ExampleAmsterdam

Please fill in your site name.

As you would like us to refer to your cohort in our manuscripts. This is usually the study name as it is known locally, which helps readers recognize and find this cohort's other publications.

ExampleCogtips

Please fill in your cohort name.

Optional: please provide one citation for this cohort.

Examplevan Balkom, T. D., Berendse, H. W., van der Werf, Y. D., et al. (2019). BMC Neurology, 19, Article 179. https://doi.org/10.1186/s12883-019-1403-6

Please indicate whether you can provide exact visit dates per subject, or only an approximate window for the whole cohort.

Diagnostic criteria used for PD diagnosis.

Please select an answer.

Inclusion and exclusion criteria used, for PD patients and, if relevant, separately for controls.

ExampleDisease duration <10 years
ExampleNo dementia
ExampleNo neurological history
ExampleNo psychiatric history

Please describe the inclusion/exclusion criteria.

Were the MRI and clinical assessment data (e.g. cognitive or motor assessment, questionnaires) collected on the same day for all participants? If yes, skip to Q9.

Please select an answer.

Which was collected first: MRI or clinical assessment?

Please select an answer.

In which language were the (clinical) assessments administered?

ExampleDutch

Please fill in the assessment language.

We've already requested data on medication state during the motor assessment, since it is essential for almost all projects. Here, we are interested whether participants were on medication when they completed the cognitive assessment and/or questionnaires (Q11) and MRI (Q12).

PD medication state during clinical assessment collection.

Please select an answer.

PD medication state during MRI collection: all subjects ON, all subjects OFF, varies per subject, or unknown?

Please select an answer.

Was any participant in this cohort on psychiatric medication?

If per subject: please collect these in a spreadsheet (subject ID + medication type(s) + any other available information such as duration and/or dosage) and either email it to us, if allowed, or request a new secure SURFfilesender link from us to share these data.

Please select an answer.

Most clinical assessments are self-report. Were others (e.g. a caregiver) allowed to help the participant complete the clinical assessments, if needed?

Please select an answer.

Is there anything else about your data collection that you think would be relevant for us to know, for this or future ENIGMA-PD projects using this cohort?

2. MRI Acquisition Parameters for T1-weighted image

Note: You can find most of these parameters in the json sidecar file of your T1-weighted image.
Caution: Parameter definitions can differ by vendor, in particular for TR: Philips defines TR as the time between excitation pulses, while Siemens defines TR as the time between inversion/preparation pulses. Please report the value as shown in your scanner's protocol printout.
